Latest News Labour Welfare Fund Contribution rate has been enhanced with effect from 02.12.2022 - Employee Share Rs.20/-, Employer Share Rs.40/- per employee Employers are requested to pay Labour Welfare Fund Contribution for the year 2023 @ Rs.60/- per employee on or before 31.01.2024. Applications are invited for Educational Assistance for the year 2023-24. Last date for submission of application - 31.12.2023 --> All establishments are asked to make the payments of Contribution of fund, Fine Amount, Unpaid Accumulation, Payments other than wages, using the online payment option. The guideline to register the establishment and payment procedure is available in that option. This new portal is created with various facilities. Kindly follow the Guideline document.
The Tamil Nadu Labour Welfare Board was constituted by the Government of Tamil Nadu in the year 1971 by an executive order of the Government (G.O.Ms No.222 Labour Dept, dated: 20.2.1971) with a view to promote the Welfare of the employees and their dependents. The Tamil Nadu Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1972 was passed by the State and was given effect from 1.1.1973.
