Haley was a wonderful guide, and has been guiding for 12 years! My children, who had never rafted before, loved it. She kept them entertained with riddles when the full day option felt long. She was fun, informative, experienced and trusting (we loved taking the single kayak through the white water!)Grace DolanJune 21, 2024Fantastic experience from start to finish. Definitely recommended the full day trip.sally breenJune 18, 2024What a wonderful time my family enjoyed, rafting the Rogue River with our guide, MacKenzie, plus a filling lunch topped with delicious cookies. I highly recommend Morrison's Rogue Wilderness Adventures for family fun. Our group of 6 ranged from age 12 to 70, and we all had a splashing good time!Peggy MoakJune 17, 2024I cannot recommend Morrisons highly enough! We did the 4-day supported ‘Wiking’ adventure (wine + hiking) and it seriously couldn’t have been better. The guides (Brent, Greg, & Dustin) were all delightful, they ensured we were safe and comfortable the whole time but were also so fun and knowledgeable. Liz, the somalier, was beyond awesome - she’s such a fun person and a true wealth of wine knowledge! The trip was very well organized, and the supported hike idea made it so everyone in our group could have the best experience for them. Morrisons was so accommodating with my severe allergy as well which I really appreciated. The lodges were all so welcoming and had seriously the best food! The Rogue River is stunning and I am so grateful for this experience!!Tara WilsonJune 6, 2024Well guided and a lot of fun!!Green Partnerships, LLCJune 5, 2024We had an awesome time on our wiking trip through the rogue river. The guides were thoughtful, hospitable, friendly, and fun to hang out with. Would definitely recommend!Luis NaranjoJune 3, 2024I just returned from a Raft-Supported Lodge-to-Lodge hiking trip with Morrison's Rogue Wilderness Adventures & Lodge, and it was truly a trip of a lifetime! My recently retired mother and I chose Morrison's to hike the Rogue River, and it was the perfect choice. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by friendly staff and cozy accommodations nestled right by the river. We enjoyed a delicious multi-course gourmet dinner at sunset where we were entertained by a curious blue jay eager for a bite of the lodge's famous freshly baked orange rolls. Our evening ended in charming wood cabins, providing a serene and remote forest experience. We sent our loved ones goodbyes with the knowledge that our phones would be useless for the next few days. The adventure began the next morning with our outstanding guides - Soren, Abigail, and Kevin. After loading our gear into dry bags, we set off deeper into the Oregon woods. Soren, our lead guide, educated us on the intricate Wild & Scenic history of the Rogue River at every turn. When we arrived at the river, the guides promptly loaded our luggage filled dry bags into the rafts while we embarked on our hike down the Rogue River trail. We hiked alongside steep rocky cliffs, weaving into lush forests and ferns, and through wind swept meadows. Every step left us in awe of the natural beauty around us. Frequent stops along the river allowed us to meet up with our guides, refresh ourselves on snacks and beverages, and learn more about the beautiful world around us. The first day's hike, just over 10 miles, ended with a refreshing dip in the cool river water before shuttling across to Black Bar Lodge. Despite the limited power resources, we enjoyed hot showers, a hearty meal, and a night of singing, guitars, and stargazing. The next day, my mother and I hiked the full 15 miles, while others in our group opted for the rafting experience. The trail and river views were equally breathtaking, teeming with vibrant ecosystems and wildlife, soaring eagles, and colorful irises at every turn. Once we reached Marial Lodge, we were greeted with beautifully renovated rooms and another delicious dinner, capped by an exceptional in the next morning. The next day, my mother and I opted to raft the short 3-mile stretch from Marial to Paradise Lodge, passing stunning sites like Stair Creek Falls and the Blossom Bar rapids. Our guide Abigail effortlessly guided us through the rapids, pausing along serene stretches so we could swim in the river and enjoy the views. Eventually, we reached our last lodge - Paradise - which took our breath away. With its sweeping meadows and full amenities, this was one of the most serene stops of the trip. The mouth-watering seared flank steak dinner, cowboy poetry by the fireplace, and a nearly full bar made for an evening that will never be forgotten. Our final day featured a 7-mile hike through more lush forests, canyons, and waterfalls. We enjoyed one last pack lunch in the wild before relaxing on a lazy float down the river to our final pickup point. Following a short drive, we we're returned back to Morrison's Lodge. I can't thank Morrison's and our guides - Soren, Abigail, and Kevin - enough for this unforgettable experience. It was truly a trip of a lifetime!Michael PrescottJune 1, 2024They shuttled my car from Grave Creek to Foster Boat Ramp.
